Goverment and City Info
Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) – 111 W. Alma Ave. 777 0133. To make it as painless as possible visit this link prior to your visit if at all possible: http://www.dmv.ca.gov/
At this site you can schedule an appointment, find out what documents you need to get a license, change your address, or transfer a title. You can also learn what is required for a driver new to California, and even take a sample written test. That’s right; a written test is required to get a driver’s license in the state. But once you’re “in the system,” you can renew your license online with minimal hassle.
